As we celebrate our veterans later this month, we’re putting the spotlight on resident Delmar Watts for his years serving our country.

A veteran, their spouse, dependent or survivor may be eligible for VA health care benefits. Enrolling in these programs may reduce or eliminate costs for medical supplies, office visits, prescriptions and even assisted living expenses.Find out what benefits are available to you and how to access them from Lisa Helms, Veterans Service Supervisor with the Missouri Veterans Commission. Helms will answer your questions about eligibility and the types of assistance available at 2 p.m.
