Farmington Presbyterian Manor was recognized with an Emerald Award Level One from Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America for reaching goals in fiscal year 2018, July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018.The recognition came through PMMA’s Emerald Awards Program, designed to encourage its 17 locations and two hospices to achieve high levels of resident and employee satisfaction, meet financial goals, build philanthropic support for the organization’s mission and meet marketing goals.

Six winning artists in Farmington Presbyterian Manor’s annual Art is Ageless® juried competition—including one artist who won “Best in Show-Professional”—will be featured in the 2019 Art is Ageless Calendar produced by Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America.Ste. Pat Shoemake, portrait, and Pat in Guam, where she lived for two and a half years in military housing[/caption]While she grew up clerking the family’s country store, selling groceries and pumping gas, resident Pat Shoemake had no idea how her life in the small community of Rondo would prepare her for a life traveling the world.

Thanks to everyone who attended our annual Chicken and Dumplings Dinner and Silent Auction in March. More than $16,000 was raised to benefit Presbyterian Manor residents who have outlived their financial resources.
